About Tremzac

Its Foundation

Équipements Tremzac was founded in 2001 by Ghislain and Steven Tremblay. The company is located in St-Bonaventure, adjacent to Drummondville, and is related to Machineries Tremzaction, Canadian leader in the sale of used machinery for the timber industry.  In the beginning, Équipements Tremzac occupied a production surface of 7,500 square feet and focused mainly on the design and production of handling equipment for the timber industry. From the very beginning, the company was recognized for the quality of its products and service.

Its Growth

The growth of its activities, the development of its distribution network and sustained efforts to develop new products have completely changed the company’s image. Today, Équipements Tremzac occupies a 40,000 square-foot production complex, including a sales office, a paint room, a production plant and a research and development department. The will to satisfy customers and the employees’ expertise have contributed to positioning the company as a leader in the production of equipment for the timber, agriculture and energy sectors.

Acquiring the Rights on Oxtrac

Since 2008, Équipements Tremzac has acquired all the rights, patents, engineering, distribution, and production of “Oxtrac” gas skidders. During the years that followed, the company developed and fine tuned a diesel version of this product and added a hydraulic attach system to the front and rear. Thanks to this revolutionary product, the compact “multi-use” vehicle, besides being active in the timber industry which has become more demanding with selective cuts, can also handle various tasks in a construction, agriculture and forest fire setting. The company is also a leader in the production of wood transformation equipment (wood shaving machine). With a range of products offering different capacities, the company can address the needs of a wide range of agricultural, commercial or industrial customers.

   

Acquiring Agria

Recently, Équipements Tremzac was granted the North American distribution of Agria products. Agria is a Spanish manufacturer renowned for its construction equipment, its forklifts and its tow-hoes. This acquisition will enable Équipements Tremzac to offer its partners and customers even more products.
